Key provides housing for people with learning
disabilities, who also need support, in over 50 locations throughout
the country, either directly in housing built by Key, or through
lease arrangements with other housing providers. There is a mixture
of single person and shared accommodation. Some housing is adapted
for people who have mobility problems or use wheelchairs. |
In most housing developments a number of houses
and flats are occupied by unsupported tenants who have been nominated
by the local authority. There is normally a range of single people
and families, which enhances the integrated nature of our supported
accommodation. Our Housing Officers are the first point of contact
for our unsupported tenants, and there are also informal contacts
with our local support staff. |
